Surfing & Board Activity
In Safaga, the day often starts with a perfect morning offshore wind, ideal for downwinders toward the legendary Toubia Island. Around 11 a.m., the wind shifts to side-shore and becomes steady. The water conditions are well suited to board riding (freeride, freestyle), with lessons, rental, and safety support available on site. A very high wind frequency during the season makes kitesurfing possible almost every day. It’s a progressive spot that lets you learn gently in the morning, then pick up the pace and work on maneuvers as the wind builds.
